देशभक्ति नेपालीको पहिलो पहिचान: अनिल

राष्ट्रभक्ति र देशभक्तिबीच कति भिन्नता छ, त्यो राजनीतिशास्त्रका ज्ञाताको जिम्मामा छोडेर यो पक्तिकार नेपालीमा यी दुवै गुण हुनर्ुपर्छ भन्न्ो मान्यता मात्र प्रकट गर्न चाहन्छ । हाम्रो समाजमा एक नेपालीले अर्कोलाई कुनै पनि बहानामा न्यूनीकरण गर्ने वा होच्याउने अवसरको 'सदुपयोग' गर्नु स्वाभाविक बनेको छ । एकले अर्कालाई राजनीतिक पार्टर्ीी कुनै वादका आधारमा खण्डीकृत गर्ने र 'तँभन्दा म योग्य व्यक्ति' भनेर सावित गर्ने अभ्यासमा जुटेको पाइन्छ । नेपाली कांग्रेस, एमाले, माओवादी, राजावादी वा यस्तै विशेषण लगाएर काडाकाड गर्ने प्रवृत्ति मुलुकमा जुनसुकै व्यवस्था आएपनि कायम छ । स्थायी चरित्रका रुपमा यस प्रवृत्तिले मौलाउने अवसर पाएको छ । के यस प्रवृत्तिले नयाँ नेपाल निर्माण होला - अवश्य हुँदैन । हामीले न्यूनतम आधार खडा गरेर सम्पर्ूण्ा नेपालीलाई समेट्ने उदार मनस्थितिको विकास गर्नैपर्छ । कुनै नेपाली कम्तिमा नेपाल र नेपालीको उन्नति र समृद्धिका लागि आप\\mनो क्षेत्रबाट विवेकको प्रयोग गरिरहेको छ भने कुनै राजनीतिक विचार वा शासन पद्धत्रि्रतिको आस्थाका कारण उसलाई अपमान गर्ने सोच सबैका लागि घातक छ । आप\\mनै उदाहरण दिएर पक्तिकार प्रष्ट पार्न चाहन्छ । यसले मुलुकमा राजतन्त्र हुँदा होस्, छयालीस सालयताको बहुदलीय पद्धतिको शासनमा होस् वा आजको माओवादीको नेतृत्ववाला सरकार चलिरहेको अवस्थामा किन नहोस्, नेपाल र नेपालीका लागि दर्ुइ शव्द बोल्ने-लेख्ने र दर्ुइ डलरको सहायता पुर्याउने अभ्यास त्यागेको छैन । त्याग्नेवाला पनि छैन । श्रमको खोजीमा आज अमेरिका आएपनि यसको मेहनतको प्रतिफल आप\\mनै जन्मस्थलमा पुग्नर्ुपर्छ भनेर यसले 'लबी' गर्दै आएको छ । एनआरएनले नेपाली नागरिकता र लगानीको अवसर पाउनुर्ुपर्छ भनेर यसले आप\\mनो विचार प्रकट गरेको र पैरवीको स्तरमा आएर कुरा अघि बढाएको पनि कति शुभचिन्तकलाई थाहा छ । यसलाई लाग्छ, यसले अन्तस्करणबाट नेपाल र नेपालीको पक्षमा सोचिरहेको छ । के सामान्य नेपाली भएर बाँच्न यसको यो सोच पर्याप्त छैन र - हिजो केही राजनीतिक दलभन्दा पनि राजालाई देशभक्त पाएकाले यसले सोही अनुसार अभिव्यक्ति प्रकट गरेको सत्य हो । वस्तुवादी भएर बोल्न मन पराउने यस पक्तिकारले माओवादीदेखि विभिन्न राजनीतिक पार्टर्ीी देशभक्तिपर्ूण्ा कामको प्रशंसा र कमजोरीको खुलेर आलोचना गरेको छ । भोलि मात्र होइन, बाचुञ्जेल यसले यो अभ्यास छोड्दैन । लोकतन्त्र र मानवअधिकारको मार्गलाई यसले सदा सम्मान तथा अनुशरण गर्छ र आज देखिएका राजनीतिक दलहरुमध्ये उनीहरुको कामको आधारमा बढी देशभक्त देखिएको पार्टर्ीीे निकट बसेर काम पनि गर्छ । तर यसरी प्रष्ट हुनु र पारदर्शितालाई स्वीकार गर्नु आलोचनाको विषय नबनोस्, यसको यत्ति मात्र विनीत आग्रह हो । नेपाल संघीय लोकतान्त्रिक गणतन्त्रको बाटोमा अघि बढिसकेको, नेपाली जनताले यसलाई समयको आवश्यकता ठहर गरिसकेको बेला, राजास्वयंले जनताको चाहना नै मेरो चाहना हो भनेर स्वीकार गरिसकेको समयमा कसैले राजतन्त्र नै फर्काउन खोज्छ भने, ऊ प्रतिगमनकारी नै हो । समयको मागलाई बुभ\\mनु नै वैज्ञानिकता हो । जस्तो, भेरिएबल्स -ख्बचष्बदभिक) नै बदलिएको अवस्थामा अनुसन्धानकर्ताको निष्कर्षबदलिनु अवैज्ञानिक हुँदैन । जहाँसम्म मानवीय कमजोरीका कुरा छन्, यो पक्तिकारमा पनि हुनसक्छन् । तर त्यसलाई पहाड बनाउने अभ्यासले नयाँ नेपाल बन्न सक्तैन । यस पक्तिकारले सर्न्दर्भअनुसार आप\\mनै उदाहरण दिए पनि यो सबैका लागि लागू हुने नियम हो भन्ने कुरामा यो विश्वस्त छ । खासगरी परदेशी बनेका नेपालीले एक-आपसमा एकता पर््रदर्शन गर्ने मान्यता बनाउँनर्ुपर्छ । यस कार्यमा हामी सफल हुनसकौं, यही  2009 शुभकामना । motherland-nepal@hotmail.com

Siliguri: Six companies of paramilitary forces will be put into action to maintain law and order in the violence-hit areas of north Bengal, police said on Sunday

Paramilitary forces have been requisitioned to tackle law and order problems in Dooars region of Jalpaiguri district and Siliguri, Inspector General of Police (North Bengal) KL Tamta told PTI. Applauding the role of police in controlling violence in the region during the recent strikes, he said they arrested 84 persons in connection with Saturday's clash in which two persons were killed and 20 others injured.

Meanwhile, Gorkha Janamukti Morcha General Secretary Roshan Giri told PTI that they were observed a 'black day' on Sunday in Darjeeling, Dooars and Terai. While condemning Saturday's violence, he alleged that the CPI(M) had plotted violence to divide the Gorkhas and the Adibasis.

"CPI(M) cadres came out with sharp weapons to attack Gorkhas for no reason. We will discuss the entire episode in our central committee meeting within a day or two and decide what to do," he added. (PTI)

On the occasion, PM Dahal said there is a risk of division and communalism from handful elements, adding that unity among the parties can only fight those elements.

He went on to say that the people who were against federalism and civil rights are now in favour of 'inter-racialism'. "Such group poses a risk to nationality," he added.

“Those who dream of nationalism, communalism and division will vanish like water bubbles,” he said.
