Hi S Sigdel, a few of my favourites - - Punjabi by Nature @ Priya - a bit pricey but authentic, masaledar Punajbi food. Buy some Digene for the night :) - Kabab Factory @ the Raddison - very close to the Airport. There is also a very good italian restaurant in the building that I forget the name of. - Dumpukt and Bukhara @ the Maurya Sheraton - Buddha Lounge in the mall on MG Road in Gurgaon - Daichi @ South Extension - relatively inexpensive but great food. The name seems to be Japanese but food is Chinese. - Sagar @ Defense Colony - if you like South India Vegeterain, this is the place to be. - Naivedyam - another great south indian place in Kalkaji (not sure if they are still open) - Bistro Restaurant @Hauz Khas - There are several restaurants in the complex servicing Indian, Chinese and Europen fare. If the weather is good as for a table on the roof top. Enjoy! I miss that city.

Garmi ma je payo tyehe khana khada Jaundice, typhoid , hune dar huncha. tara if you are going there in cooler months Just try street stalls. Like Nijamuddins Kabab and rumali roti...thats the best.

Those places in Nizzamudin have got some good food. The one catch when I went there was if you don't eat beef, half the dishes are off the menu for you :) Another nice place, on the same lines, are the Dhabas at INA market - great roomali roti and kebab there too. I also liked the egg and roti under IIT bridge - that thing is really good. Kareem's near the Red Fort has also got some pretty authentic stuff (you got to throw out the oil through from their dishes ... he he) The only catch with some of these places, like DakuLanthe pointed out, is you got to be careful with water and weather. Tisa and big papa - great choices. I remember the Gourmet gallery use to have a mexican restaurant as well. Maybe they have closed it now. The farm house near Qutab/IIT is also a very interesting concept - family friendly I'd say. A few other places that I remember: - Park Balucchi in Hauzhkas. This place is reasonably priced but service is sometimes a bit slow. The food is very good with a couple of Balochi dishes. - The Imperial Hotel: I forget the name of the restaurant but it is on the ground floor. Their weekend brunches and high-tea are really good. The high-tea is "pukka" British and I got a kick out of the whole thing just seeing them do the layout and stuff. All this talk about food has made me hungry ... I'm off to lunch now :) Bon Appetite!

Hush - I'm half tempted to say what's a nice girl like you doing in Chandni Chowk? It seems you like bad guys, huh? LOL :)) Also, I believe that tongue twister goes something like Chadni raat main Chadni Chowk par Chandu ke chaha ne chandu ki chachi ko chaandi ke chamche si chutney chatai ... Hope all's well with you. Are you still in Boston these days?
