Italy did not deserve the cup. A team outplayed by Australia, USA and by France through out the final. A team that constantly barely makes out to the second round and then luckly plays easiest teams to go and win the cup.. A team that plays a boring defensive game.....

but common man, if italy didnt deserve it and hadnt they played well they'd not be in finals and ultimately won a world cup.

well, though i supported France ..Win is a win...game was fun..French played very good.Again Italy got lucky sometimes and Italy defence was amazing throughout.Even if France had to lose i would have liked it to be in the Game not in penalty kicks..That sucked.!!!!

You guys are looking at the end. Of course Italians are the world champions. But if you look at the means that led to the end, it is quite obvious that France was the better team.

And Bidhan40, who cried all over in Sajha and still continues to do so about Portugal cheating, let me remind you, had the Italian player not dove to get the last minute penalty against Australia, who knows they might not have been the champions.

France outplayed teams like Spain, Brazil and Portugal. Italy, well, Australia (by cheating), Ukrain (the weakest team in the round of 8), and Germany.
Need I say more?

I didn't have any favorites. First half, Italy played beautifully, so I was supporting Italy. Second half, France dominated. Everything was going fine until the Zidane fiasco. Zidane didn't need to lose his cool like that ... but he did. He didn't deserve such an end to his glorious career but he screwed up. Italy won, congratulation to them. Life is beautiful and I am going back to my life.

I didn't understand why Argentina didn't use Messi much. What were they waiting for anyway? Liked Germany's game better than anybody else this time although I am a born Brazil fan. I hoped that Robben would drag Netherlands to somewhere near final and he'd shine in this worldcup and that didn't happen either. Ronaldo somewhat kept his head high but Ronaldinho really sucked considering his superstardom.

Oh well, somebody tell me how can I save some money in four years so that I could spend a month of my summer 2010 in South Africa. eh!!! How about a donation... ;)

italy deserved to win the world cup because nobody courld score proper goal during play. if no team could score they dont deserve to win against italy.

and why are you complainaing about refreeing decesion like crybaby. accept the fact. you say italy dive and got penalty against australia. but even sydney herald said italy deserved penalty because you cant obstruct other player by sliding. did i ever made issue about why marco matarrazi was given red card against australia in 24 the minute unjustly. before that red card was given italy were dominating the game but later they were forced to play with ten men and go on defending. if they played with 11 man may be they would have beenn 2-0 up by 90 minutes.

and did i ever said your so called france scored a lucky penalty against portugal when henry dive . did i ever said that the penalty against italy in final was wrong. even marsaille dasily said it was wrong. dasialy is the fromer memeber of french world cup winning team. Even the goal which was held offside can be a case for arguemnt. because the passive player was offside but luca toni who scored the goal wasnt offside.we italian fan never complained about that .

italy has always been on a wrong side of refreeing decision in histroy. you just have to see 2002 world cup. i never made issue of that world cup here in sajha and moved on.I dont know why people continue to say italy lucky agaisnt france. france got lucky penalty. those who have seen italy will know even if opposition domintes most of the time its italy who comes out winner because of their defending.

every team had good and bad decision against them.
ITALY WON SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY OVER CAME ALL THE ADVERSITY AND WRONG DECISION AGAINST THEM.
