 Cathay Pacific has very cheap rates from Nepal. Try to get a cathay round trip for you and then get a one way ticket for your wife for the same flight from Nepal. My sister got the ticket for 800 one way.

 you can't just marry a Nepali girl and bring her here with you. Your wife needs to get US visa first!!!

 I'm curious to know what kind of visa are you applying for your spouse, and how long will it take for your wife to get visa from the date you apply?

Maile paila pani H1B visa apply garera stamp halisakeko chu Nepal bata, aile job change vayekole feri halnu parcha tarA maile Visa paauchu vanne confidence cha. Tara Srimati ko lagi H4 VISA lai k hune ho. Tyesko lagi tapai haru ko sallah ra sujabh ko khacho cha, tapai haru ko experience/suggestion haru share garnu hola.

H4 dependent visa shouldn't be a problem and it can be issued on the same day.


bihe_gardaichu, I understand what you're asking but not all these people understand that.

You can go ahead and buy two way tickets that cheaper for you, I am sure once you get your wife's visa stamped, you can buy ticket on the same flight..Don't worry you'll get it !

US returnee is right in this case. Worst case may be you ending up paying few more dollars; I think you'll get to come back in the same flight.

 @ mad bro: the guys is in complete different situation than you're sharing your experience for. You're a USC and were sponsoring for a GC for your spouse that would normally take 8-10 months for people overseas. This bro is on H1B visa and is sponsoring for a dependent H4 visa for his wife - if he has all the docs available, his wife might be issued an H4 dependent visa right after their marriage, the next day or whatever - no wait period required.

 How about a Naturalized US citizen, what is the process of brining wife to the US, how long does it take? doesn't anyone have any good informatino?

 Sajhaguy69, it takes abt 1 year for a naturalized citizen's spouse to get to the US. Abt 3-5 yrs for a GC holder's and 2-3 weeks for H1 holder's.
