Dear Sajha Members

My mum came on B1/B2 visa  and the immigration official at airport gave her visa for just 2 month although she had a 5 year multiple entry visa. 2 month is expiring on Nov 3rd,2009. However she has Canadian multiple entry visa too, so if she leave the US and go to Canada and come back to US after a month of stay in Canada, will she be able to get new I94 or not. Will they give problem in while entering US again.

Thanks
God is Great

I had a similar situation, that case doesn't apply for Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico i guess. Your Mom needs to go to some other country in order to get new I-94

Yes, she could have problems at the US port of entry.  It is required that she leave the US for a substantial period of time before attempting to re-enter.
