Now i work in a gas station and save around 20,000 per year. Now i have been accepted for MS in Computer Engineering and the tuition fee is around 6500 per semester. Now I am really confused whether to go for a degree or just continue working and earn money. I am a good student but my spoken english is poor because i speak rapidly and because of my accent. And i seriously think that this is going to hamper my job hunt in the future. Well what would you guys do?

I don't know how retarded the new generation of  Nepali are getting. No offense, your accent will have very little or nothing to do with your Computer Degree. It all depends on how good you are as an Engineer. I've seen people with accent, thicker than a rhino skin, very successful in their carrier. Now if it was a degree in Public speaking or communication, then yea...you have to think about it. Regardless of what other say, keep on with your study. And yes, try improving your accent, it will make your life easier.
No offence bro.

if you have got enough money for your fees, then go for the study.. as you already know about your problem with your speaking habit, try to slow the pace down, nobody is gonna say anthing to you if you speak slowly. don't worry about accent, everyone has it..
Think about it, the decision is your..

I have seen people in Microsoft from India, China, Philipines, Vietnam, Korea and other countries with very thick accent. They are making good money and their accent dosen't seem any problem in their work. If you stay in the Gas Station, you ain't going anywhere, but if you go for your degree you have got endless opportunities. Good luck man.

rewire - agree with u. a carreer that requires sitting behind a computer >80 % of your time don't care about your accent and every international person has accent.

jhapali - go for it, man. no lame excuses. in a land of opportunity like this, all it matters is knowledge and desire to do it.

again, knowledge is power.

i dont know if you will laugh at this advice but i think that the best way to raise your confidence level in spoken english is work where you have to interact with people constantly. I have seen that people who work in restaurants ...in a bar or waiting ,whatever are more comfortable interacting with people. may be you could try out a part time job for some months. And you should study . people before me have given you very good advices. its really important to have knowlege for a good life.

Please go to school. The pain of losing money for not working in the gas station and going to school will be healed right after you get the job in your field of study and with the satisfaction you may earn.
