Sudesna with her 'A Million dollors smile !' Many girls who study nursing in Nepal dream of good life in the West especially in the UK and the USA. Suedesna ( name changed!) is one of them who has dreams and expectations of life being a practioner nurse in UK. Sudesna one of the youngest and preetiest girl in her 20's flew to UK 6/7 months ago along with 50/60 girls who have same sort of dreams 'to have a good life in the UK'. At the beginning, Sudesna faced many problems in the UK. As her parents have spent a good amount of Money to send her UK. Some of the Agents who have very little knowledge and experiences in the related fields falsified people in sake of earning money. Real Dreams and Versatile Agency are some examples of them. These agents having any good knowledge, capacity neither good contacts in the related fields could help nothing but provide a terrible mental problems of their life times. Sudesna has almost spent 5 laksh rupees for her staff nursing courses through the agents. Sudesna does not know where her college is, when her placement would start. These guys neither pick up the phones nor responses well; that only made her remained in frustrations and depression. She had to look herself some sort of caring homes job to sustain herself. One does not have to pay any Money to get placements and adapation courses UK. If you are approved from NMC you can find out Nursing Homes or NHS hospitals yourself, they will offer Placements and training, finally even offer job according to your performances. Some of these nepalese agents are just trying to make busienss through private agents who have contact in NHS and getting big amount of money form the innocent Nepalese. After a six month turmoil and many difficulties, Sudesna has finally got her Placement in NHS. She is determined to work hard and to be a Staff Nurse in UK. These nurses who came to UK, have to face many difficuties. In fact, they got cultural shocked at the beginning, they were not trained and provided enough informations about the systems and legality. They were not aware of any rules and rights of theirs. most of the nurses got difficulties working in the Hospital. They were treated well, matter of facts, Nepalese nurses have the good skills of jobs and knowledge of Englsih Languge but it won't be recognised well at the beginning as a result they have to bear many harasemnt, bullying and metnal problems. As a whole nurisng students have a good career in London. Once you completed your training course and achieve a Qualified Nurses Status, one can earn at 25 to 30 thousands pounds a year with a good facilities. Nursing Profession is a good opportunity for the foregin income of the national economy of our country. There is not anybody or Governemnt Organisation to look for it. It must be made systematic and well organised. It would be easier and far better for many to settle and work in the UK. Because of lack of proper training and information before coming to UK or USA people have to face lots of pressure untill they get to learn bythemsleves. In some cases, it understimates the quality and status of Nepalese people around the world. ALL'S WELL, THAT ENDs WELL is London where Sudesna is smiling and happy to be in London.....

What is going on this thread Name is changed but the foto.......................? If you want to show the foto then why the name should be changed.. Any way this might not be the issue what ur trying to find here. Definitely sajhabusaima le bhanya jasto hunchha kya. The important thing in the teenagers is without knowing any thing they just rush to aboard with the great sapana.... and they will find here Udayo sapana sabai huri le............. So, they will be disapointed morally. The important thing comes here is that how you can overcome those porblems. This is the main parichya ko ghadi kya. only then you can do better....... First you have to know all the necessities required, the place where you can find the proper informations before marchig aboard. I find here everythng systematically. Unless and until you make a mistake you will be carged... Now you might have over come the problem but try to pass the infromations to your frens who are willing to come aboard like you that will really be helpful.

Panpate ji, Good comments, passing message one friend to another will work .. but in general that may not work for everybdoy ......... May be a friend you have, may have less information or he/she is also suffering same sort of problems ..... It would be only possible throguh an Authority and a Recognised Body that will at least provide training and information to those who are heading for different countries ....... And there is not such Body to look for it in Nepal...

Thanx I want to emphasize that instead of saying there is no any body to porvide information. It is you who must be curious and be aware and prepare yourself. When you plan to leave you must be prepared for both the positive and negative ways. You yourself should try to find the problems and possible answers to them. I hope the embassays in Kathmandu may also provide relavent informations for that. British Council as well documents voluminous informations. But no such planned schedules appear in Nepalese teenagers and they face the problem. They try to thing everythig they can overcome. This the stage of Stress and Strom. But anyway its good now that you are safe. That's good and i think you now can tackle more problems in future. Its a good symbol for further. Best of luck

Alson Nepal, Many fellow sajhaites have asked the reason behind posting "Sudeshna's" pictures but I didn't see any answer from your side. Are you ignoring the question or have I missed the answer??? Well, one more time...I got the story and all but whats ur purpose of posting her pictures and above all posting pics of london's ship and rush hour traffic?? Doesn't make sense!!!

The post posting makes some connection with the thread title, what follows after that does not make sense at all. I wonder how the photos of various places in London makes connection with the thread title- it does have no connection at all as far as I am concern. Perhaps,Alson Nepal, you should rather answer all the queries which has been set forth for you. Why the need to send email ? It is to much of a hassle, also it would be benefit the sajha members, who have been follwoing this thread closely, immensely. Regards, Kirat Rai (Newcastle, UK )

OKK... The purpoe: You are trying to relate a story of a grl named "Sudeshna" who is living happily in London as a nurse though she had to go thru mental turmoil. She stood strong and finally beating all the odds, got what she wanted!!! The story that you have put forward does make sense and I can feel what she might had to go through to get to the position tht she is in now. I am not questioning the intention of ur story...Just your intention of posting her pics and the pics of various places of london!!! If you have posted this thread in an open public website, the questions are pretty clear and open then I believe answers should be brought out here as well and not thru emails. Thats all!!!

Alson Nepali Bro, thank you for your prompt reply. As far as I am concern, the photos does not seem to really highlight the problem that Sudhesna faced - there is totally no connection all. Anyway, if you feel like u want to post the photos of London, then you should create a seperate thread and post them there. Cheere mate !!
