Hi Sajha Frens, I need to do medical examination for my green card process. I was told to bring all my immunization history. I dont have any results other than mmr. Does anyone have any idea, if doctor will ask me to take other shots? How does this work? What are the other tests i need to do? Thanks in advance.

Follow this page and use find the doctor tool to loacte one near you. When making appointment, tell them it is for immigration purpose and they will tell you what to bring for the medical.

Get all immunization for which you don't have the record. I took appointment with doctor and then He told me to perform bunch of tests needed based on my records including tb and drawing out blood for some other test. They would know what to do . you will need multiple appointment. Try to get gora Doctor they r less expensive than desi. :)

I completed my medical in March. I was in the same situation as yours- did not have any records. This is what i did: 1. I called the student health service at the university and ask them to mail/fax my immunization records with the dates when they were received. 2. I went to the public health department of my local city (they are normally the cheapest for immigration physical which includes blood work and Xray if needed) and showed then what i had from the school records. I just had to get one more vaccines and the cost was covered by my insurance (most insurance cover immunizations even when they have a high deductible). They accepted the other immunizations from the school record. So my suggestion would be, find a non-profit type immigration doctor (ideally in public health departments, other private ones will charge arm and leg), show them your records from the university and go from there. best of luck
