Find a local dental college and I believe most of those colleges provide dental service at affordable cost most likely 50 percent less than what others charge. The treatment is done by students but are monitored and trust me they are good for minor dental problems like yours

To be honest, many nepalis do not know how to brush teeth properly. And they do not brush after dinner at night. Use dental floss to get the dirt out from teeth. Use sensodyne if your teeth are sensitive. You can use Listerine to mouthwash regularly. The way to brush is up and down and not horizontally. And brush back and forth to get the dirt out from inbetween the teeth.
Apply cold pack to the area. IF you already did all and does not heal then visit a dentist. :). Proper dental care means in old age you will not need dentures. :)

I have had lot of teeth problems in the past. I did not have insurance that time. So, I relied on home remedies. Onions helps for toothache. Cut onion into small pieces and put it on top of the infected tooth. Close your mouth and press it. Leave it there for a while. You will feel decrese in your pain. You can repeat this proces depeding on your tooth pain. Clove helps too. Some people use clove oil but I use regular ones and do the same thing with it. I know toothache is very painful and been though it.
I hope these remedies help you to some extent :)

Ha ha ha funny one facebook, thank you for your suggestions nevermind, freedom and 1988. First i tried anbesol, and then oragel but it didnt worked. Then i tried garlic paste which helped a little but not a lot. And then i took some bc powder and put it in the infected area for about 20 minutes and guess what, it worked. Thank you all.

I agree with freedom2012. I had many tooth problem and i didn't have insurance too. I suffered a lot. My teeth are very sensitive and I do take care of them very well now. I go to dentist every 3 months, brush my tooth twice per day, floss and mouth wash every time. Also, you shouldn't be eating anything for 30 mins after mouth wash. I used to get tooth-ache every month but these days I don't have any teeth problem since 2/3 years. Prevention is better than cure my friends.

besides brushing, mouth rinses, floss, etc, you can also use clove (oil is better than the actual fruit) like someone suggested above. soak a small piece of cotton in clove oil and apply it on the aching tooth, leave for few minutes. another thing you can do is brush your teeth with salt+oil paste every few days (say a week) - helps get rid of some toothaches.

Clove is equally beneficial to gum diseases, canker sores and bad breath.
If it doesn't help, then...
(gum diseaseas are normally the symptoms of ailing kidneys,
canker sores are when your stomach is acidic
and bad breath is when you are low on betaine hydrochloride, meaning when you don't have acid to breakdown )

Some advice may look very simple but it helps:
Get a flush and fish your teeth very well, it will take off the some plaque away. Have a glass of warm water add salt and 5 -10 drops hydogen peroxide (do not put too much hydrogen peroxide it will scrub your gum and mouth wall) If it is hurting too much you can use orazole or orasole over the counter medicine. You will see the difference within couple days.

I make warm water salty and add 5-10 drops of peroxide and rinse the teeth. Both salt and peroxide helps to kill the germs as well help to heal the swollen gums. Do not use too much Peroxide, it will take away the enamel, and it will bring another problem when you drink hot or cold water or sweet. Not recommended rinse before brush, first brush then rinse.
