Is Quotes going to help NEPAL ? Is the Fat Assed King going to help Nepal ? Are any of the religious priests or leaders going to help make Nepal a better place ? IF NOT THEN FUG ALL OF THEM !!! FUG MAHABHARATA, OR RAMAYANA, OR MAHAYANA, OR HINAYANA, OR THE BIBLE, OR THE QURAN. THEY ARE JUST THERE TO CREATE MORE PROBLEMS for HUMANITY THAN HELP THEM. MOST OF THE WAR TORN REGIONS IN THIS WORLD ARE RELIGION RELATED. AND THE MORONIC HINDU FANATICS IN NEPAL WANT TO KEEP THAT HINDU NATION BANNER FLYING ABOVE THER MORNIC HEAD. yet another excuse for these morons to take out another julus, another Nepal bandh, another loss of revenue for Nepali businessmen. Yet another barrier put up by our intelligent nepali population in our turtle paced growth and developement of Nepal.

The Kingdom of Nepal , the fountainhead of Hinduism, has, since time immemorial, provided ascetics and mystics with the spiritual ground for meditation. Siddhartha Gautam, the founder of Buddhism, is a son of this land. Buddhism later spread far and wide, including India , China and Japan , and Lord Buddha came to be revered as the proponent of peace, a fact we should take pride in. Janaki is also a daughter of this soil. Having never faced any kind of discord in the name of religion, Nepal can be taken as a paradigm of perfect harmony between religious tolerance and peaceful co-existence. While holding all religions in high esteem, we firmly believe in the good virtue of creating a peaceful environment. This is also an outstanding attribute of Hinduism. - His Majesty's King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev

Supplication, worship, prayer are no superstition; they are acts more real than the acts of eating, drinking, sitting or walking. It is no exaggeration to say that they alone are real, all else is unreal. - Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi

BathroomCoffee do u have any other alternatives that just might work for a change? Wasn’t Nepal better before 1990? I have a small storey to tell here that might not mean anything to you, but I feel the pinch me every time I think about it. I did my schooling in India since childhood. When I used to cross the border Nepali police used to be in full uniform, and they used to look smart and helpful and (with 850 CC bikes) everything looked good about them. After crossing the border I used to see the Indian police in their lungies and torn (and black with dirt) vests, dying to get a dime in bribe (and I used to laugh wholeheartedly—had even thrown a dime or two sometimes for fun). After 1990, the whole storey changed. With every passing year, I witnessed the increase in ‘missing shirt buttons’. By the time I was in 10th they had started wearing shirts with (literally) no buttons. Their appearance changed as they stopped shaving. They started taking bribes like the Indian police. By the time I graduated from High school, it had become hard to differentiate the Nepal police with the Indian (Bihar and/ or UP) police. Thanks to khaobadi now, most of them are probably dead. I don’t know what you think about the storey, I saw it and I felt it. I don’t like Gyana (and am even be willing to shoot Paras), but I don’t want khaobadi or Girija or any other commie making the government.

Lord krishn in Bhagwat (11:32)geeta says, Meaning: Time I am, destroyer of the worlds, and I have come to engage all people. With the exception of you, all the soldiers here on both sides will be slain. After learning sanskrit language American Physicst " J Robert Opennheimer" studied bhagwat geet and expressed that "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds" He had already dropped bomb in Japan before he went to India

ARKO MITRA Patience or meditation like Crane not Owl. Bako dhyana means bakulla ko jasto dhyan as he does while looking for fishes in paddy fields. Balabhadra ji to my knowledge this the character appearing before this symbol is stressed while pronouncing.

You are right. How the heck I thought of lato koshero. Cranes are called Bagula Bhagat. They meditate to fish like praying for their appearance and they don't even move even when somebody throws stone at them. As soon as any fish comes out they just peck it and eat it. What a Bhagat!!! Well, I guess student also has to have that much focus to learn something.

here's my favorite one... "Om Asato maa sad-gamaya; Tamaso maa jyotir-ga-maya; Mrtyor-maa amrutam gamaya. Om Shaanti Shaanti Shaanti". translated to.. "Oh Lord lead me from the unreal to the real; Lead me from the darkness to light; Lead me from death to immortality; May there be peace, peace, and perfect peace". Invocation from the Upanishads
