I found this image in unitedweblog website with caption: "An army personal threatens to open fire on protestors in Pokhara this afternoon. This threat came as an army vehicle couldnt pass through the road because of a Mass Meeting organized by seven political parties in Mahendrapul Chowk. The situation became tense and police came. Police returned the army van and the atmosphere cooled down. Pic by Prem Nepali" That means instead of learning from their previous mistake they are ready to shoot more innocent people ... they would have done that if police had not come there in time.. Clearly this is something wrong in system, it was not a single psycho soldier that raised hell in nagarkot, it was system with uncontrolled and over power army...

Army Men Beat up Students in Bharatpur THT Online Narayangarh, December 17 Army personnel beat up the students entering the premises of the Birendra Multiple Campus, Bharatpur at noon on Friday. The students had been demonstrating against the massacre of 12 civilians by the army personnel at Chihandanda, Nagarkot, in Bhaktapur. Campus Chief LB Chhetri said that almost 200 soldiers had entered the campus premises after encircling the campus before beating up the students. Six students were seriously injured in the incident, while six others were taken away by the army personnel. Terming the indiscriminate beating of students inside the campus premises "an act of cruelty," Chhetri said: "We condemn such acts. This should not have happened." According to the police, 15 policemen and nine students were injured in the scuffle following the students' demonstration. Police said they had arrested 22 students from the demonstration. The students torched a motorcycle at Pulchowk of Narayangarh, police said. At Pulchowk and Shahid chowk of Narayangarh, the police and the demonstrators clashed throughout the day, reports said. The police had to use teargas to tone down irate student mobs. Lieutenant Colonel Santosh Dhakal of the RNA's First Rifle Battalion said the army retaliated after some people in students' uniforms pelted stones from the Birendra Multiple Campus gate at the Barrack. "Nobody has been held under army custody. We just assisted the police," he added.

My humble advice: don't take the threat of Chairman G's goons so lightly. They are blood-thirsty bunch of hounds.

If the photographer saw one person faint, why did he not take a picture of the fainted person instead of blabbering his big mouth?

"Awe inspiring" is the real sensation that can do justice to the scene described by the photographer. It is evident that some of our discussion members are incapable of feeling to that extent. How can you deliberate a scene when you are overcome by the feeling it creates?

Perhaps the photographer should be awarded a Nobel Prize in the art of lying? For his unashamed description of a scene that never was? The picture tells it all. If a dodgy photographer can claim that a person fainted due to the tear gas, why the hell could he not take a photograph of it? Oh , may be he will be awarded the prize of Mr. Big Mouth Photographer.

Ha ha. Before telling you who the photographer is, let me tell you the fallacy in his statement. As per the caption, the photographer is saying that he went to the shop after hearing a shot of the gun. But he is giving you a first hand account of how the police supposedly inserted the gun inside the shop and fired. May be sound travels faster than light in Nepal? ha ha ha And by the way, I hope you are not surprised to learn that Bikash Karki is closely related to Madhab Kumar Nepal's wife.

Police intentionally fired a tear gas shell inside this small tea-shop. I was shocked to see thick fume of smoke coming out of the shop. First, I though that was the thick steam of Mo Mo. No, that wasnt. Immediately, men and women started coming out stumbling on the road socked with the gas and eyes full of tears. The scene was horrific. Sad that my Canon couldnt capture that but I will never forget the woman slipped over the road. The shutter was open only by a foot. Source:blog.com.np

Police fired more than 30 shells of tear gas this afternoon in New Baneshwor to control the crowd. Doctors have repeatedly warned that the gas is harmful to health.

Thanks Bhoonte You are smart. you showed the flaw in the words that violate the natural laws. But it's so bad that we just saw the picture and that doesn't violate any natural laws. I feel that if Bikash had quoted the words of that woman, you wouldn' t have any problem with the picture, aint it? But I still smell foul. how can you deny that Bikash himself fired tear gas shell , closed the shutter and opened later to shoot the sensational picture. No surprise after all he is ....
