With April 1st coming closer to file for H1-B visa i am little worried
about my situation. So just to satisfy myself i have few questions. My OPT expires on May 31st. I am going to send my new I-20 within the end of this week or
early next week so that he can send them with other documents.
So my questions are: 1. If my H1 is approved will they send new I-94 along with that or do i have to apply for that too? 2.
Since I am applying for master's quota. Do you guys by any chance know what
is the minimum salary requirement to get approval for h1-b visa?
3. And also is it fine to send new I-20 while we apply for h1-b visa to bridge the gap between june and oct? 4. If i send my new I-20 will my OPT expire? Thank you very much

yes, you will get new I-94 with your approval.
salary is based on your job type, locations and so on...
well, if you want, you can leave usa and come back to join your company starting from october 1st, this way, you dont need to worry about new I 20. trust me, getting H1b from nepal is very easy with your H1b approval notive.
i am not sure about your 4th question's answer. my understanding is, if you get new I-20, your opt will automatically expires. but not sure from what date. i am guessing it will be effective from starting date of your I 20. HTH.

Yes, they should send you new I-94. The number could be same as you have now though.
2. Since I am applying for master's quota. Do you guys by any chance know what is the minimum salary requirement to get approval for h1-b visa?
Look in Onet Wage Library in Department of Labor Web Site. You can google and find this web site.
Wage varies according to location, job levels.
3. And also is it fine to send new I-20 while we apply for h1-b visa to bridge the gap between june and oct? Whenever you deal with USCIS, it is recommended that you prove you have maintained status.
4. If i send my new I-20 will my OPT expire? Hmm dont know unless if the I-20 is for different university or different program than your previous fro which OPT was obtained.
