All the Nepalese can vote and pick the winner of the Indian Idol. How come we don't take initiative in building our own Country. Here all the nepalese stood up together saying " we are united" to choose a nepali guy. But what  about our country.???? it's going down and down everyday...Isn't it our responsibility to take care of our nation.....????

So where are u guys? Any ideas any plan share over here....

I highly appreciate the effort of thread starter and the contributors for starting this initiative. This is something we all want to do but we are also looking for someone based in Nepal who is trustworthy and will take real initiative to channel the fund properly.

By the way there is another fundraising going on to build a stadium at Dharan. Even though its local initiative but still commendable. Dharanes have already proved their might by succesfully collecting fund to build a new clocktower at Bhanuchowk and I am sure we willl soon see a new and modern stadium too.

My suggestion for new fundraising initiative is to have some realistic and longlasting project goals. Like building a school in Accham, or spreading Mahabir Pun's projekt to other nearby remote places.

Few years ago the school children of Denmark worked for a day to collect money to built a school for Kamaiyas, and they collected a huge amount of money ( 40% of which was unfortunately spent in Denmark). I have also read similiar stories of Japanese school children helping Nepal. Therefore we as nepalese can also do it. ..

We have shown that in Prashant Case , lets built this momentum..

It is really a nice step that people are uniting in DHARAN...... this is an another example which proves,Unity can bring happiness and success.

1. I guess we have to circulate our objective among as many people as we can, i have pass this message to some of my friends back in nepal and some in different county? Did you?????
2. We need to make sure wht is our aim as someone has mentioned above. Without our goal we can't do anything... it should be long term and should be small project for starting
3.No doubt i guess we should start from Educational field....Do you guys agree on that, if not please put your tought.

Once we are clear about these point then i guess we can move futher.... Knock as many door as u can...

It provides youth development programs like-care-centered: provide family-like environment where youth can feel safe and build trusting relationships in the community. Besides, it provides the basic information and services to the community by means of electronic media.

Needs:

• To make the community socially aware by providing information related to development, politics, society etc.

• To meet the human development needs of youth and to build a set of core assets and competencies needed to participate successfully in adolescence and adult life.

• To bring societies within the boundary of the global technology.

• To make people more flexible to share their knowledge with each other so that community people are self motivated in their activities in the society.

Thanks Niki123,,,, that is really a nice job......i would definately help u in wht ever way i can... i am related to computer too but i guess as other has suggested it is better to focus something related to general education.It will be really tough to move toward IT if we would like to focus outside of valley.
By the way i do have and i know some other friend who doesnot use the computer thoser are like PII or III that is desktop.. if u know any way that we can send u guys those stuff and if it is useful please let me know.

Youth Vision for Education World is an Education sector organization and they are working for Education Sector and we are supporting for their projects as a partner. We have the project of Scholarship and infrastructures development for education sector.

I am planning to raise fund to help the schools like this ..

I have some people in mind who can help us to utilize this fund in proper manner.

The fund collect will be use for making the necessary stuff like

Providing gud water,
MAKING SEATS, BLACKBOARDS.... DISTRIBUTING BOOKS ETC to the school as shown in these pic.

I guess we should focus on only one school at a time...

To my knowledge we wont give money directly but will help to creat the stuff like this ,
in this way the money we collect gets utilize properly..
