How is the job market for Undergraduates? I heard that most of the jobs are in west coast. Is it true?

Masters degree in Bio-chem/Biotech doesn't make any sense. PHD is the best thing to do, i think.

am working on my MS degree in Biotech...also did my BS in biotech...in my opinion n experience, when u r for looking job with BS degree, u will get it as a lab technician...it's good if u wanna work for a year under ur OPT.however, get ur MS or PhD if you want to do really phenominal in the field, coz with out MS, ur pay will be really less. and without PhD u cannot design ur research or experiment n u will always be a lab technician working for somebody....for the BS ...if u r looking for a job..try to find jobs in universities..maybe a yr later u will end up working on ur MS there...hope it helped..

Ballads, I was just wondering what could be the effective way to approach for jobs in universities after graduation? Do I approach individually or get some help from the advisor or any other idea? Sparrow

well, reference always helps...so if ur advisor or the professor with whome u worked or did some kinds of research ask him/her to help u to hook up with some research related work.n sometimes, also try to find job in ur university , may be in different departments they might ve job openings...so its good to look around..good luck ..
