I hope ya all don't take the HongKong route. It's a pain in the azz. If you are a Nepali citizen you will need a freakin TRANSIT visa just to pass through HongKong. So if you are in USA and going to Ktm via HongKong you better contact the Chinese Embassy to get your transit visa...dunno how long this will take..good luck...:)

THAI has started a direct flight from NYC to BKK since May 2005.

forget me not, i haven't purchased a ticket yet , but third eye travel has quoted me $850 , one way to nepal, via bankok .... flight is cathay pacific ....
