My OPT expires next month (Feb) . I am planning to go back to school in Fall 2015. But i beleive we have only 60 days to go back to school after opt expires. There are good scholarship available in fall at most universities and according to 60 day rule i have to start my school in summer.
I am so confused and lost. Dont wana lose my status or some. I tried few community college for summer school but they say they cant take as transfer only concurrency. Btw i have opt based on my bachelor.

Anyone who had to go through similar situation? Please share your workaround.

I am in the same boat . I am thinking of joining kaplan for while and search for school where you located at may b we can join grad school together.

@ chulbul. I am still searching for grad school. Kaplan has online classes right ? Can you share some details on it ? what are their enrollement deadline and any further details ? Cost ?

You have five months to go back to school after OPT expires. "The student must begin classes at the next available term or within five months, whichever is sooner" http://www.ice.gov/sevis/f1-transfers

Parda3 is right. You have 5 months but I think you have to transfer your SEVIS before OPT expires.

There is in class too in kaplan have to go 18 hrs class a week. where u planning to go for grad school i m also looking cheap grad school.

@K6takhabar - did you figure out how to remain in status until classes begin in Fall?
