Iball. You seem to have a quite of bit of interest and knowledge about ANA basketball for someone who has never participated before. I am sure that members of the DH team are honored that you know so much about how the team was formed and what state each player resides in. Perhaps you should refrain from actually playing in the game and stick to something that is more suitable for you like news reporting and giving detailed player biographies. Also, you seem to harbor lots of resentment for DH team whom you despise cause they not all the members are from one state. How has this ever affected you? I mean..its not like you are some wannabe baller on a scrub team who spends your month's salary on roundtrip flight to a different city each year air with aspirations of winning a ANA championship only to have your dreams crushed by a team that is vastly superior to yours. Oh wait, maybe you are. Learn to love yourself and realize that there is nothing wrong with coming in 8th place as long as you tried your best.
look at that ego man.....dude u disgust me.yes...directed to u DH.true u guys been winning games lately, but talk about fundamentals.....u all still suck and am sure lotta ppl here would agree with that.stop boosting urself too much. aint gonna do much good to anyone.all these kids that come to ANA are trying to get the best outta it....aint NBA but u aint got nuthing else either.
Yes DH, in fact I do have a lot of knowledge about the various teams in the ANA tournament. Why you ask? Let's just say I have plenty of sources who have participated in the ANA tournament for years now. Also, I’ve been to most of the ANA tournament and have been a spectator for most of the games. How do I know the players of your team's origins you ask, well I guess anyone who has attended the ANA tournament since NY knows you've one 3 straight, so people tend to notice those things. Also, everyone knows that you guys call yourself the "Dunking Hunmans", and you actively recruit players from various states. I harbor a lot of resentment you say, I don't see how that is resentment when I am merely stating the fact. Maybe you harbor a lot of resentment towards people who question your team’s make-up, and your recruiting practices.
Saturday, you are right, DH does have a lot of ego. And what's this about spending my month's salary in aspiration of wining the championship? What the hell are you talking about? This is the fist year I'll be participating. Wanna be baller? Maybe the characteristic you are bestowing on me are those which best suits yourself. This time around I won't have to buy airline tickets because it right here in my hometown. Look, I know my team is young and we are inexperienced but, we do what we can with the players we have. You claim you are superior to others, and Sleepy claimed that even if we gathered the best Nepalese players from all the US cities, we still couldn't beat you and your Dunking Humans. As far as I am concerned, you agreed to his statement (please refer to the posting above). What an ego is right Saturday.
stop wid dat crap here.. DH.. u aint shT.. and nobody here cares about DH winnin all da champs... when i see your game.. i feel like sleeepin.. sooo slow motion.. seems like ya doin summ chem lab.. slow and cautious.. may be thazz da reason.. ya win... gettin players from various state.. and winnin champs.. dont call urself a champs.. i dont think u r.. may be to summ point.. if u admit.. that u got people from all over the US.. den i will believe.. dat u r a champs...

M reeppin CT BALLERS.. #3
and no i can't dunk.. or touch da rims.. i dont got no bounce.. DH
I-ball, there must be a reason why you were a spectator!!!! Lets see, your team "home town" has a rotation of 5 players, and you could not crack that rotation. I mean, the bay area team is very spectacular, and I must say they play with a lot of heart. They almost beat DH a few years ago and their win against NY was just amazing. But at the same time, other than three players on that team who are phenomenal, the rest are just role players straight off the boat/plane. And on the bench, you have a few players that are wet behind the years.... so, lets see, you could not crack their rotation then, what makes you think you are so special that you will be playing for them this time around? OK, I have an answer for that, you are going to play on the "B" team. LOL, thats basically the bench players saying... "guys, we suck really bad, and we cannot get any play time, so since its in our home town, lets start a B team... that way, we can get some play time... who cares if we dont score a point, atleats we can play a little"
I-ball, I commend you for your spirit. Your love for the game is unmatched - you are willing to play even if it means embarassment and a sure loss. Keep up the good work, and in a few years, you might get to play on a team that has an actual chance of winning.
Oh.... you caught me... I am Nepaliballers. What is with you guys and Boston? Like the name though, Nepaliballers. Hmm.. creative. For the last time, I don’t give a fk about Boston. What is wrong with this guy. Sleepy, I never said I was a great player. It's true we didn't have dept in Baltimore and we lacked experience in LA. But, I think we have improved on both of those deficiencies. I'll be honest with you, I am coming off the bench, and nevertheless, I think I will contribute to the best of my abilities. Sleepy, you think we are a sure loss huh, this again is bold statement. Let’s see if it holds true in the tournament. Last time I check, we were playing in the finals when the ANA was held in the west coast.
I am not proclaiming myself as the best player in the ANA tournament. Sure, there are better players than, me. I am just stating the facts. I don't go around making outrages comment and accusations. Look, we can do all the talking here but what matters is what we do on the court. Sleepy thanks for some positive comments for my team though. I know we were very inexperienced in NY, and the results show that fact. But now, I think we can make a good run at teams with a deeper bench and added experience. By the way, that game against NY was the best game I've watched so far in the ANA tournament.
Please do not misconstrue my previous comments as any sign of egoism. I view you all as my nepali brothers having competed against many of you throughout the years, I was deeply hurt to hear such negative comments. Yesterday, I had an emotional breakdown and just cried myself to sleep as I have been unable to deal with your criticisms. I look forward to the ANA each year, not just to play basketball, but to meet with old friends and make new ones. I respect your opinions that participants should all be from one state and we are working on ways to rectify that situation. Currently, the only two out-of-state performers on our team, one from New York and one from Texas, are looking for jobs in Arizona so they can relocate and and we can represent AZ. One of our players is considering taking a job that pays 20,000 dollars less in annual salary in comparison to his NY job so we can all live in the same state and have your respect. However, until this happens, I regret to inform you that DH will not be participating in the upcoming tournament as we concede it is wrong to play with people from other cities. Thank you my brothers for your words of wisdom and good luck in ANA 2009!
DH... I respect your decision to not play in ANA '09. I think that the controversy that this has sparked is understandable. It is too bad that DC will not be able to face their favorite opponent on their way to being champions once again. The only concern that I have is... why did no one complain that the team was mixed in the beginning.... no one expected DH to with the 1st or 2nd championship... thus no controversy and no complaints... only now, after 2 championships ppl are btching about it.... so, what about teams such as MMC??? No one complains that their players are from all over... same goes for Mongols United... now, this is for soccer and basketball... DH, please listen to my comments and I hope you will reconsider.... I would hate for my DC team to not play our favorite opponent.... I know we will win it this year, but it will be bitter sweet without getting a chance to play you guys... like they say, to be the best, you have to beat the best...
Ok!! Sleepyspur, DH, Outsidaz, I would love to hear what you guys have to say about this year Basketball tournament??? . You guys have been talking a lot for the last few months!! Who was the best team?, improved team?? and so on… Hope you guys weren’t disappointed.
I heard boston was the only team that showed up for the basketball tourney! and they were declaired the winner....they ddn even have to play....Congratulations? errr maybe
MAGA and all how do you feel about Trumps cabinet pick?
