The title suits the speech.. And its all about how you can make a difference in one's life.. awesomely executed speech!!

This was one of the best speech I've heard in any convention DNC or RNC. She wrote it herself.

This particular line was almost poetic. Eloquent on its delivery and yet a subtle jab at the rightist elites:

"And he believes that when you've worked hard, and done well, and walked through that doorway of opportunity...you do not slam it shut behind you...you reach back, and you give other folks the same chances that helped you succeed."
She outclassed everybody there.

On a sad note, other DNC speaker proved that they are no less of a liar than RNC speakers. They are, after-all, politicians.

When emotions win over fact... Its you who is going to lose.

Hats off to Mrs. Obama for solid speech. But, at the same time, I feel pity for America if her drama sells well.

Kalikopoi, care to elaborate on what you referring to here? Strong speeches have some element of emotions and drama in them; but to call the entire speech a drama is very childish...that too w/o any reasoning.

It was a good speech indeed, but I dont think that speech will help obama win.

It's not the popular vote that counts
it's the electoral vote,
and he already has states with major electoral votes.
All those major biased sites like drudge and fox can post fake figures on how unpopular obama policies are
but the thing is world hasn't been done yet with Obama,
You choose anyone but obama, let's just forget about policies seemingly benefiting you in his absense,,
you'll also be readying for unstoppable imminent war, who knows could be the spark leading to world war III.

 I don't know that we have a bunch of rednecks (in sajha) who for no good reason hate obamas.  He inherited the mess and I think he is doing his best to clean up the mess.  You cannot significantly reduce the unemployment rate in 3 years.  It is easy to break a glass by dropping on a floor (you need 2 seconds to do that) but it is hard to clean up glass pieces (you will spend 10 minutes for that).

I've lately come to know about the fact that people are basing their views on their bosses' political views. Common, that's ridiculous. You are not 'ullu' to be as such.

Why you should vote Obama:
- if you are an immigrant (Obama policies benefit immigrants than any others)
- if you think Obama is the one to land man on Mars (JF Kennedy did that by sending man on the moon. ). He is set to plan bigger things, stead-fast eyeing on mars.
- Obama policies congregates as 'US' - We are together in this' whereas GOP policies segragates as 'You' and 'I'.
-if you are struggling middle class
-if you have pre-existing health condition
-if you are student
-if you need peace not war

I can't wait to see OBAMA take another term.

I find it baffling when an immigrant is republican. Republicans are anti immigrants and you and your family are the first ones to be treated like shit by them.

How could an immigrant be supporting GOP policies when they're upright telling that immigrants are the one creating economic problems? 
I know most of us here in US are immigrants, if you are supporting Repub, you are in deep sh-it.

I cant believe you guys still think voting for Obama or Romney makes a difference. They are both shit while Obama might be less shit, it doesnt matter, as ur still voting for shit. Goldman Sachs, oil companies, the illuminati have already chosen the winner. All the voting machines are electronic and can be rigged to produce the result they want.
