Dear Sajhabasi, I am extermely upset by this news that my hajurbua, Kabi Bharat Raj Panta is no more. I missed him badly. He sent me a hand-written letter and his books which make me feel he is around. I am in school and working on-campus. I am not able to go campus. Moreover, I want to go back Nepal. Any suggestions?

Dear Sijupanta, My heart goes out to you and your family. It's easy to say someone passed away but it's only the person who's loved one's left them knows what it feels like. I could try to put down my sympathetic words here but it would look as if a passer by looked at something and went along. I believe that you are going through real hard times. This is a phase in human life. The balance remains between joy and sorrow. As the storm of either one hits us we tend to stumble, jump with joy, break down, lose hope and cry. The elements of joy and sorrow always alter our normal lifestyle. This is life and this is how it works. I think you are a student and your semester is coming to an end. You should not stop going to college and focus more on your studies. Think about it this way, How would your grandpa feel looking down from heavens at her grand daughter failing the classes and being a bad girl? It's up to you to take your grandpa as an inspiration and work more hard towards your goal. I strongly believe that there was one thing that your grandpa wanted from you and that was for you to have a prosperous and a happy life. So go ahead achieve your dreams and always remember it's partly because of your grandpa's contribution, moral support and kindness you are where you are right now. The other part is all on your hands. "Things happens in life, either you move along or suffer. It's your call and I'm not god." -YekloYatri At times I think I've said more then i was suppose to. My heartfelt condolence goes to you and your family. Lonely Dreamer, YekloYatri

Siju,
Please accept my condolences.
If it helps at all, maybe spending time with your friends (Sajha including) might be good. Also, if there is a 'spiritual centre' or a counsellor in your college, talking with that person is also very healing.
But on the brighter side you have fond memories of him, and those memories are yours to cherish. You were lucky to be so close to him. Your own life has been fulfilling because of his presence. And he must have felt the same. Be glad you could be a part of his happiness.

Siju ji, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. It is obvious for you to be upset. But, please do not be upset too much so that to ruin your health. Your hajurbuwa may be watching you and being upset seeing you upset.

Siju ji, I know its hard but rather than being sad I think you should be thankful and happy that you had spent some time with your hajurbuba. There are unfortunate like me who even doesnot remember how my hajurbuba looks like. Seems like your hajurbuba was a great person. He will always live through his poetry and essays.

Words cannot alone express how sorry I am to hear this news. I don't know what hurts worse than this. What can anyone say at a time like this? Those of us and our loved ones who live under the shadow of this monster know how fragile and precious life can be. But when the beast takes one of our beloved ones, the fact is : there is nothing to say, nothing to do except pray he will rest peace in heaven .May almighty give u and ur family members strength, courage to over this tragedy.

Siju bahini,
I lost my grandmom 8 years ago and somewhere deep inside me I still feel pain coz I couldn't be with her when she died.I was very close with her.She was a women of substances. Her husband died when she was 28 years old but inspite of all odds, she raised 4 kids including my mom and all of them went to college and completed their degrees. My mom taught me to cherish all the wonderful moments with her and I do that.I try to remember all her good deeds and all the hapy moments with her and am happy that she didn't have to suffer a lot when she died. She died peacefully with all her 4 kids surrounding her.
I know there will always be void in your heart,u'll always miss him as I do my grandmom. But looks like your hajurbua passed away when he was reading a book.Looks like that's what he liked best .And looks like he didn't suffer too. So,think positively, try to remember him, try to follows his footsteps if u think u can, cherish all those moments u share with him.
It's life.
Take care
PS Filylyly bhai,
U take care too
