It was very hot here in Texas day before yesterday and all of a sudden it started getting cold at night, and Saturday morning when I was ready to drive to go somewhere in the morning, guess what, it was snowing!

The weather of Texas is really very capricious!!!

I took some shots while I was driving. It looks like water, but it IS snow. Rarest snowfall in Texas in this hot summer! :)

This is summer re?! This is spring not summer and texas isnt the only state that's experiencing this bizarre weather. It's chilly/cold all over the US. Enjoy the snow though and take some from here too!

Balbhadra, maybe not technically, but literally it is summer-- here in the place I live! I am just giving you my experience of living in this place for three years. It is freezing cold one day, and suddenly it is perspiring hot the other day. :)

Slakedemic is right. I have experience living in dallas for 6-7 years. i have never seen this crazy things. Literally, this should be summer now by our past experience, but it was bizzare. I guess, its nothing but a manifestation of global warming. You are so observable slakedemic.....i was thinking the same stuffs.......this is really bizzare to see in snow in summer

It's texas .......... its either winter or its summer ...... there may be spring and fall few days in between .... first of all it doesnot snow in texas that often .... above that at this time ...... this is less likely than being struck by lightening

Javier, I think you can say the pictures show the "snowfall" not the snow itself. The drops you can see outside the car are not rain drops, but snow.

In any case, it was not a heavy snowfall. It had barely begun, and you can not see the pile of snow on the ground/road. Below are some more pictures; as I traveled along the way, the snow fall slowly disappeared.
