Well Said Bikash KC but I will mend it a bit: if we have King and Democracy we can check and balance power. With these SPAM terrorists and warlords ruling us...we can't do anything. I agree that King should take over and wipe off all the terrorists and warlords for once and all. I don't mind if we have to cut off electricity and telephone lines to wipe off terrorists.

Currently under these terrorists and so called democracy we have no electricity and the business is all dead. It's better to go through pains of Killing the terrorists.

i don't want to blame anyone but here is a hard fact...
when the same NeTa like Giriza get elected or nominated for time and again ( probably more than five times) even though he has done nothing good, i take people having the power (i don't underestimate this power) to vote responsible. Yes, are we damn foolish to elect the familiar face so often regardless of their selfishness and misdemeanor. We know that the person is bad but why do we give all the power to him.

Talking about Rajas of nepal....i think nepal didn't get united by having a nice little chat among the reigning kings over a Gundri on a saturday morning. I don't want to visualize how many of our ancestors have been killed in the unification campaign. The recent one is the killing of Beloved king and his royal family....and i don't think u guys would say that some politicians did it or Gyanendra and his so called his sinister son did it...and rather say Dipendra was out of his mind...

My fellow brothers and sis the days when the king used to feed the hungry, build temples for worship and protect the people are long gone. I heard the royalty has bought islands and traded off the priceless Gaida and other wild life.

Lastly, i think the king can survive without the salary from nepal government as he is a business tycoon. And, i believe he should be placed in highest position in social systems like religion, ceremonies etc but not in political system. It is the people who rule not a family.if i want to build nepal and if i have the vision and support i can surely in democracy....so being otherwise limits this desire as i won't be a royalty.

so its better to have a nation without king in power
