As we know that our work authorization will be ended from June 24, 2019. What are the other different alternative we have to get work authorization apart from OPT and CPT?

@water: you can but you have to re-register TPS and also get a new EAD because the current EAD expires in 2 months

Yes you can! but like bakwaas_kura said, you have to re register again within 2 months. There are also other options to apply for permanent residency, if you find a sponsor can give you employment. Unlike h1b sponsor, you dont have to be in their payroll, all they have to do is sponsor you and you can start work for them when you get your residency..Wait time is less than a year for tps holders if you get a sponsor because your information is already in DHS data base. I know this because I consulted this for someone with a lawer in California. Another option is if you have a US born children, you can also apply for hardship children can not adjust in that environment specially we are just recovering from a historical disaster, schooling, language and environmental issue ..Pollution in ktm and surrounding area is 40 times higher than world standard..what I heard last time was its surpassing Delhi and Beijing. So good luck folks..Haresh na khai halnu..You got 14 more months left..A lot can happen by then. Immigration outcomes may change after Nov. Election again !!!!

Here is the number for that law firm I spoke with..they can represent you wherever state you are in..1st consultant fee is $100 but can be waived if you file a case with them...They are specialized for tps issues. 1800-795-8009 http://asianjournal.com/immigration/temporary-protected-status-as-a-pathway-to-a-green-card/

@@Korkipa :you Tibetan refuses come here with Nepali passport and think bad about Nepal and Nepali. We should not give milk to a snake. For your info, I was here when Ronald Regan was President ..what do you think? You probably dont know who Regan is. I am just worried about close brothers who are dear to me.

@khaikok: You are not fit to stay in the US because either you don't know how to read or you have not studied past SLC.

Since you guys started the discussion about TPS alternatives, I have a question too: For a F1 student (MBA, graduating in 4 months) who also has TPS but haven't worked using TPS EAD (TPS was used only to get in-state tuition), would it be better to (1) renew TPS, get EAD and look for jobs, or (2) go the OPT route?

Go back to Hills & Mountains , trek, hike , reboot and get back to new/old chapter of life. Start a business, invest, or do something to keep up with your living cost. Just don’t get depressed, go with enthusiasm and whole lot of energy.

@mangale: Well said!! The other option is to apply for Canadian PR. My Canadian PR application got approved and I am leaving U.S. in August. If you start your Canadian pre-application process right away, you should receive your PR within the transition period that DHS announced today. As mangale said, don't get depressed, come up with plan B and ride along. Good luck fellas!!
