Namaste,

I am organizing a playgroup for Nepali kids who are 1-3 years old. We will meet for 1 hour every week. For the first ½ hour we will let the kids socialize with each other. We will talk to them in Nepali and play with them. The next ½ hour we will read Nepali books and sing Nepali Nursery Rhymes to them ( Tara Baji lai lai, Kukhuri ka, Meow Meow Biralo etc)

I have a daughter who is 2 years old and I thought this will help me meet other parents with kids in my daughter’s age group. I think it will be good for our kids to be with other Nepali kids, learn our language, and feel comfortable with our own people. There are many playgroups (Indian, Muslim, American) so, I thought why don’t we have Nepali playgroups for our kids.

It is neither a school nor a daycare. All parents (either mom or dad) are required to bring their children and stay with them the entire time.

There will be small fee if you decide to join the playgroup.

Please call 617-763-9153 for more details.

Day, Time : TBA

Thank you
