My relative has a unique situation, I'm woundering if someone went through this before.

She is applying for F-1 visa in Nepal but her parents have green card. Since F1 student has to prove he/she will be returning back to Nepal after finishing studies in USA, so by showing Parents' PR contradict the situation. Is it ok to show parents' PR in the application form or just doesn't show it cauz I know interview at the embassy is barely couple of minutes and they don't go through  all details.

Has anyone has this situation before ??

Appreciate ur feedback.

It will be better not to indicate PR of her parents. But, if her green card is on pending then it will be better to include.

it is always a good idea to tell the truth.  i have a friend who came here on F1 while his parents already had green card and staying here in USA.

It would be proper to show their Parents PR. It would help her rather.

If they already filed here GC application she won't get F-1.

She has to tell the truth when her parents are here and if she will not get visa now, she will get permanent residence visa within 2-3 years after her parents apply for her green card. I think her parents already applied for her green card process.

Thank you.
