Love is such a strange and funny thing. It comes in many forms. It comes and goes when you least expect it. To a certain extent you can control a human being but however hard you try, you cannot demand for love. If you're lucky you get someone who loves you till death to you part. But in some cases, you just stick to your partner because of marriage vows. The love has somehow evaporated but still because of a promise made, you keep your side of the bargain. Hard to find someone like that. Most people would at the spur of the moment, just walk away from it all. But some will never give in to temptation even if it means living in self-sorrow. Such people are to be admired. You know your spouse has shortcomings that drive you to the brink of marital suicide but what makes you hold on when there's nothing substantial in the relationship. Is it true love? Is it sacrifice? Is it patience? Is it fear? Sometimes we learn it the hard way. Our love is tested again and again. Can we make it or will we break it? Is it better to live in sorrow even though love has "died"? Or should we live like heroes, come what may, I will never leave my mate....not because of love but because of one's duty....dharma.
