Just want to know ... will there be any issue or any problem while filing the h1b from two different companies seperately. Does anybody have any previous experience ?????

I checked with some law websites and this year USCIS is requesting companies not to file for H1 twice for the same person so there is a little risk on that. It is not finalized yet though

lol...thats stupid. They will probably decline outright your application if you do that. Moreover, which employer will file for your H1B when they know you are filing from another one as well? Remember that H1B is employer specific...you got to transfer if you want to work for some other companies. I am not a pro on these things but I don't recommend doing it. I can only see your application getting rejected right away without even processing through the lottery.

i really dont understand why would someone try to file from two different employer? is this because you chances will increase by 100% in lottery. well, i would not advise anyone to do that though.

so far as my knowledge, for 1 person, 5 companies can file for H1 but will be approved for only one. Heard this some months ago. If others have some idea, please share.
