Hello all,

When I call KTM, Nepal (via direct or calling card), I get this funny
recorded message (in Nepali and English) saying that 'outgoing calls to
this number is not available' and sometimes 'customer does not want to be
disturbed'.

Does anybody know what this is all about? I have lost a lot of money
hearing that message only.
Any ideas? Your feedback is very much appreciated.

Regards,
Danzian

I hate that stupid voice over the phone saying "the party doesn't want to be disturbed" WTF is that???
How the hell NTC know that your loved ones doesn't want to be disturbed by your call at 8 AM??? Stupid things like these makes me angry. I don't want to loose my minutes to hear that damn voice.

I appreciate all your replies. Thank you very much.

I still can't make calls to Nepal. It still says the same message.

Is there anybody who is having a success in making calls to Nepal? I'd appreciate if you could provide us the information regarding the calling cards you are using.

It has been a frustrating few days for me to contact my family in Nepal.

Best regards,

Annokababa

Well I am nost sure, but wat I came to know from my fren who went to Nepal very recently is they have started those kinda system for cell Phones. I don't have any Idea about land phones, they also have voice messeging but that message i heard when I tried to call in cell phone. So most probably if cell phone is turned off, u get that message. Well I am not exactly sure but this is what I came to know.
