Hi all -

I am pretty sure this has been discussed numerous times here, but I couldn't find the recent thread and thought the rule might have changed from what it was 16 some years ago.

The banks in Nepal used to allow $2000 per passport back then. Is that still the limit or has it increased now?

Trying to find out how much money can one bring to USA legally with an immigrant visa.

TIA

US doesnt care as long as you declare and pay taxes if applicable.
Nepal on the other hand will only allow you minimum amounts like you mentioned.
